Jon McNaughton Apprenticeship

The purpose of an apprenticeship is that the McNaughton student who has demonstrated a great desire and passion for their art is willing to commit themselves to a higher level of achievement. My greatest desire is that a number of my students will go on to become great artists and be able to use the knowledge given to them to bless the lives of others.

0- 50 paintings Beginning Apprentice
50-100 paintings Intermediate Apprentice
100+ paintings Master Apprentice

As an official apprentice of Jon McNaughton you will pledge to do the following:

  1. Paint a minimum of 15 hours a week.
  2. Have attended at least one Three Day Workshop.
  3. Give each painting a hundred percent effort beginning with a great concept.
  4. Attend three Masterpiece classes during a twelve month period.
  5. After you complete a total of 50 11X14 inch paintings you will meet with Jon McNaughton individually to consult concerning your progress and how to move forward.
  6. You will do all you can within your power to follow my council and to reach your furthest potential as a fine artist.

As you dedicate yourself to your art I will help you by doing the following:

  1. Give you precedence in attending the Masterpiece Class.
  2. After you have reached the Master Apprentice Level and I feel you are ready I will do all I can to introduce you to Publishers and people who can help you to expose your art and establish yourself in the art world.

If you have a desire to do an apprenticeship contact me directly at the McNaughton Fine Art Gallery.
