He Loves Me Too
“I have done a few paintings like this where I have Jesus surrounded by the children. The last one I did had my own children in the painting. I tried to have an expression on each child which portrayed a look that they knew they were loved. I titled that painting, “He Loves Me.” This painting was a commission I did for another family. I posed the dad with his children and then changed his face to look like the Savior. By using the father instead of a model I was able to get the children to cozy up to the dad better than using a real Jesus model. Some of the children’s expressions really captured the warmth and love for their father. I titled this painting, “He Loves Me Too.”
