Cottage Garden
"English gardens are some of the most beautiful in the world. I love gardens that seem to overflow in a natural explosion of color. In this painting, I try to include all the intimate details found in such a garden. I can almost smell the fragrance of the flowers. Little details like the signpost and butterflies add to the nostalgia. Cottage Garden is a place from my imagination that I have transformed into a real location within a 16"x20" space."
